The color choice will have to accentuate your desired details you want to focus on.
The next step after this one is to consider a separate sketch layout of the final layout. To gauge how the final masterpiece will look, you will need to put the photos on the colored paper and see how they look. My advice is that you will choose photos of the same theme, as it will be better for you to do so, because they will fit perfectly.
Crop your photographs if you need to. You will see that this way, the results will be better and you will be pleased with the results. Matting your photos is also a choice. Lastly, you will not have to be worried that scrapbooking needs to be done in a certain way, for each person has his or her own emotions and wants to have them expressed in a way that touches them the most and that is what you also need to do.
